Our Mission
Built by a law student,
for law students.
Practica exists to make studying law clearer, calmer, and more affordable — a single place to outline, practice, brief, and plan, with AI help whenever you need it.
The Story
Built from the problems I lived.
Practica started with a simple frustration. As a law student, I kept running into the same problems — outlines scattered everywhere, prep tools that cost a fortune, and no easy way to get a clear answer when a concept just wouldn’t click.
So I built the thing I wished existed. I took every problem I wanted a solution to and turned it into a feature: AI outlines you build yourself, practice questions, on-demand case briefs, a notebook, a study planner, and an assistant that can actually help you understand the material.
I build Practica with my wife Amanda, who leads the engineering and design. Together we’re shaping it into the study partner we both wish we’d had — and we’re just getting started.

What We Believe
Studying law shouldn’t be this hard
Affordable
Quality study tools shouldn’t cost thousands of dollars. Practica starts free and stays fair.
Yours to build
You learn by doing. Practica helps you build your own outlines and notes — with AI as an assistant, not a replacement.
Always available
A clear explanation, a practice question, or a quick brief — whenever it clicks for you, day or night.
The Team
The people behind Practica
Valentin S.
Founder
A law student who built Practica out of a genuine passion for helping people. He took every problem he wished he had a solution for during law school — the scattered outlines, the expensive prep, the lack of a tutor on demand — and turned them into the tools that make up Practica.
Amanda G.
Co-Founder & Engineering
Valentin’s wife and the technical force behind Practica. She leads the engineering, coding, and design — building the product, refining the experience, and shipping the improvements that keep Practica getting better.
