Our commitment

Practica is committed to making our website accessible and usable for all students, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which are the standards commonly used to measure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we've done

• Visible keyboard focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
• A "skip to content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Semantic landmarks (navigation and main content regions) and descriptive labels on icon-only controls.
• Support for the operating-system "reduce motion" preference, which minimizes animations.
• A light and dark theme, and a layout that scales with browser zoom and text size.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We are actively working to improve color contrast, screen-reader compatibility, and keyboard navigation across all features, and we test against automated tools and assistive technology as we go. Some newer features may not yet fully conform.
